Adware and PUPs families add push notifications as an attack vector

Push notifications are being added to the arsenal of PUPs, adware, and even a Trojan browser extension that spams Facebook groups. Malwarebytes flags extensions for misconduct but recognizes they offer some kind of functionality and are upfront about the fact that they will change your search settings.
