Apple expands data encryption under iOS 8, making handover to cops moot

Apple has updated its privacy policy for iOS 8. The new version of the operating system will no longer be able to access Apple’s data on devices with the latest version of iOS. Apple CEO Tim Cook took a direct swipe at Google in an open letter to the public. The policy changes are outlined in a new 43-page document titled “iOS Security Guide September 2014″ Apple did not immediately respond to requests for further comment from the company or the American Civil Liberties Union for the policy change.”]
