FCC gives full powers to US ISPs, they can sell users data without consent

The United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced the suspension of the privacy rules just before they came into effect. The rules prohibit ISPs from sharing user data with third parties without the users explicit consent. The stay will remain in place only until the FCC is able to rule on a petition for reconsideration of its privacy rules. This means that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can use customers data for the commercial purposes. The FCC will block new privacy rules because it will never go in contrast with IT giants like Google and Facebook on the way they commercialize users data.”]
