Hutchins’ lawyers say the new charges are meritless and a last-ditch attempt to prolong the case. Legal experts say the charges are heading towards a dismissal, and Hutchins jokes about the charges and asks followers for donations for mounting legal fees. The security researcher pleaded not guilty last year to creating and selling the Kronos banking trojan.
