Southwest Airlines site in Conficker’s crosshairs

Conficker worm is set to potentially cause trouble for Southwest Airlines. Infected machines will attempt to contact a site owned by the airline in attempt to download new instructions. This kind of behavior by the worm is not really an attack, as the infected hosts are simply trying to find a file containing new instructions. But it could have the same results as a denial-of-service attack on the airline’s web site, Computerworld reports. The worm has spent the last few months wreaking havoc on millions of PCs around the world.
