Microsoft to Ship 8 Bulletins in October

Microsoft is set to release eight bulletins in the October edition of Patch Tuesday. Two of the bulletins are rated as critical while the remaining six were given important ratings. Unpatched machines will be susceptible to remote code execution, elevation of privileges, and denial of service attacks. Microsoft will also hold a webcast Tuesday at two PM Eastern Time (11 AM Pacific Time) to address customer questions regarding the patches.
