Mozilla Firefox to Support Chrome’s Image Lazy Loading Feature

Mozilla is adding support for Google Chrome’s native image lazy loading feature to Firefox Nightly builds. Google has added it as a native feature to the browser. Developers need to add the loading=”lazy”” attribute to their HTML IMG tags. The feature is now available for testing in the Firefox 75 Nightly build and it is available to test in the browser’s demo page for the feature. It eliminates one more JavaScript library that needs to be maintained and downloaded from web sites from third-party libraries.”
