Security outfit Immunity Inc. has included a working BlueKeep exploit in their CANVAS pentesting tool with the release of version 7.23, on July 23. BlueKeep is a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability present in the Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) service. Microsoft patched the BlueKeep bug found to impact older Windows versions, from Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 to Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008, as part of the company’s May Patch Tuesday. A new Watchbog malware variant updated to include a BlueKeep module was discovered in July.
