Last week, Microsoft announced that the popular text editor Notepad would be updateable through the Microsoft Store with Windows 10 20H1. This would be a massive change as it will finally Microsoft to update Notepad without releasing a new version of Windows 10, enabling more frequent updates. The store version of Notepad should become available to everyone with the release of the Spring of 2020. The Store listing, which can be accessed from here, shows the minimum required Windows 10 version as Build 14393.
