Microsoft to finally kill Adobe Flash support by January 2021

Microsoft says it will end support for Adobe Flash Player in its web browsers by January 2021. Adobe Flash will no longer be updated and distributed after December 31, 2020. The move is part of a coordinated announcement made by Apple, Adobe, Facebook, Google, and Mozilla in July 2017. Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 11 users will still be able to run Flash in an enterprise environment with the help of dedicated Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer plug-ins. The company says Flash Player will be disabled by default in January 2021, and all versions older than KB4561600 released in June 2020 will be blocked.
