Europol ‘unlocks’ encrypted Sky ECC chat service to make arrests

European law enforcement authorities have cracked Sky ECC chat’s encryption. Investigators in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands have made numerous arrests. Investigators were able to gain “invaluable insights”” into hundreds of millions of messages sent by criminals over the encrypted communication service.
