Google Drive users began experiencing problems accessing their accounts at approximately 9:30 AM EST today. They would instead be shown a spinning wheel or have sporadic connectivity issues when attempting to access their files. Downdetector reports that the issue is only affecting users in the United States. Google has acknowledged the issue and is hoping to resolve it shortly. In an an update on 9/15/20, 12:17 PM, Google states that the problem is now resolved: We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
