Microsoft confirmed that updates delivered this week are causing Epson dot matrix printers to malfunction. The issue was reported on computer support forums across the Internet. Microsoft and Epson have determined the cause of the issue and are working on a solution. Users can still use their printers if they uninstall the faulty updates. The company promised to provide a future update to fix the problem to fix it, Microsoft said yesterday in an update added to the official KB support pages, adding that current or older print drivers will not resolve the issue.
