Microsoft Edge Dev gets new security and privacy features

Microsoft Edge Dev v86.601.601 is now available for Microsoft Edge Insiders within the Dev channel. The update adds support for Kiosk mode and the Storage Access API. Microsoft is also adding a new Chromium feature that forces websites to specify the SameSite=None attribute in order to use third-party cookies. Microsoft says these settings may help improve privacy and block unwanted access to sensitive information by unknown or untrusted parties, but this feature could have unwanted side effects such as blocking access to content the user may want to view.
