In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, Epic Games is suing a YouTuber who goes by the name CBV for allegedly selling cheats for Fortnite. CBV creates YouTube videos where he shows himself playing and cheating at games. In the description of some of these videos, there are links to a Shoppy page where users can buy cheats. Epic claims that CBV’s actions are infringing on Epic’s copyright by modifying the game code through the use of cheats and thus creating derivative works.
