Microsoft announced today that they are rolling out the Windows Terminal 1.0 console application with a long list of new features and improvements. Windows Terminal is an open-source tab UI-based terminal application and it was originally announced by Microsoft at Build 2019 event. Microsoft states that they will be releasing monthly updates starting in July. Microsoft is also bundling its newest Cascadia Code inside the. Terminal package and the default font is already set to Cascadamic Mono. You can have Fluent Design-based backgrounds and also background images with unique color schemes.
