Thieves Using Radio Jammers to Prevent Drivers from Locking Their Cars

Thieves have entered and stolen goods from 14 cars parked at motorway services stations in the UK. Police say thieves may be using powerful radio signal jammers to block door locking signals, leaving the vehicles unlocked. Drivers reported that thieves stole wallets, cash, luggage, laptops, and others. Police have also put out an appeal for dashboard camera footage from other drivers who have visited the service stations. Thefts occurred during a four-day period in late November along motorway M4 in Berkshire.
