Google: Kernel Flaws in Windows, Linux, VmWare

CanSecWest: Two security researchers at search engine giant Google have discovered roughly 20 kernel bugs, about half remaining unpatched. The RobbinHood ransomware is using a deprecated Gigabyte driver as the tip of the spear for taking out antivirus products.
