The GO SMS Pro app has been downloaded 100 million times, but it hasn’t fixed the bug, researchers say. A security issue can be exploited to publicly expose private voicemails, video missives and photos sent using the messenger app. Underground forums are actively sharing images stolen from GO SMS servers. With some very minor scripting, it is trivial to throw a wide net around that content, researchers said. Go SMS Pro has published two new versions on Google Play since the bug was discovered in November.
