A medical marijuana dispensary in Canada has been hit by a data breach. About 34,000 patients’ personal health records were accessed between Dec. 4 and Jan. 7. The breach has sparked a class-action lawsuit brought by a personal injury firm against NHS and its parent company, Sunniva. The company operates seven marijuana clinics in Canada, and it said it was working with law enforcement in the case. It said it started notifying patients just last week of the breach; no financial data was included in the breach.
