Defending Against State and State-Sponsored Threat Actors

There are differences between state-sponsored and non-state actors in the cyber-security field. State-sponsored actors are more likely to use the same tactics as those working for the U.S. and abroad. Security experts say it’s important to keep the public safe and not be fooled by the threat. The best way to avoid a cyber-espionage campaign is to make sure it doesn’t happen to happen to the public is to be targeted by state-funded actors, they say.
