Samba Update Fixes DoS Holes

Version 3.4.8 of the free Samba file and print server fixes various holes, including two vulnerabilities that allow attackers to remotely crash the Smbd service. The flaw stems from an issue with the ingress packet processing function of Cisco IOS XR software. Four industrial control system vendors each announced vulnerabilities that ranged from critical to high-severity.
