Telegram suffered a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack that it suffered on Wednesday. CEO Pavel Durov said the traffic overload was mainly emanating from Chinese IP addresses. Hundreds of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of Hong Kong in the last few days opposing Beijing s plan to allow extraditions from the city.
