Malwarebytes director of Mac and mobile Thomas Reed talks about a new class of Mac malware. EvilQuest, dubbed EvilQuest by security researchers, may be ushering in a new Mac malware, he says. The malware features the ability to deploy a keylogger (for monitoring what s typed into devices) and the capability to steal cryptocurrency wallets on the victims systems. For the first time ever, in 2019 researchers found that Macs had outpaced Windows PCs in the number of threats that were detected per endpoint.
