DoJ Indicts Two Hackers for Defacing Websites with Pro-Iran Messages

The two hackers allegedly hacked more than 50 websites hosted in the U.S. and vandalized them with pro-Iran messages. Behzad Mohammadzadeh and Marwan Abusrour are believed to be living in Iran and Palestine. The two allegedly replaced the content of these websites with pictures of Iran’s Qassem Soleimani against a background of the Iranian flag, along with the message, in English, Down with America Some of the websites were hosted on computers owned by a company with corporate headquarters in Massachusetts.
