TrickBot is the most popular tool of choice for cybercriminals, according to the Check Point report. It was ranked third on the list of most popular malware in February. Cybercriminals are most often used as first-stage loaders for fetching additional malware, the report said. The report also said the most exploited threat in February was Web Server Exposed Vulnerabilities, which impacted 48 percent of web servers globally, and MVPower DVR Remote Code Execution was third.
