Rogue.Tech-Support-Scam uses legitimate utilities that are bundled with Trojans that display fake alerts. These alerts are displayed in such a way that it appears that your computer has a serious issue. The ultimate goal of these alerts is to trick the infected users into calling a remote tech support company. Once the victim calls the phone number that is listed, the remote support company will try to convince them that there is something wrong with their computer so that they pay for support services.
