Fallout Exploit Kit is Back with New Vulnerabilities and Payloads

The Fallout exploit kit is back in business after a one week hiatus between December 27 and January 4. The resurrected Fallout EK is now capable of exploiting the CVE-2018-15982 zero-day user after free vulnerability discovered and patched on December 5 by Adobe. The new and improved Fallout is the second exploit kit to add support for the vulnerability after Underminer. The exploit kit has started pushing the GandCrab ransomware again starting January 15, just as it did back in September 2018.
