Microsoft announced the addition of new privacy and personal data protection features to Microsoft 365. Microsoft 365 will allow customers to respect provisions from EU’s privacy laws enacted on a worldwide basis after EU’s GDPR went into effect. The new Microsoft 365 data protection and compliance features will gradually roll out from the end of January, with the rollout being completed by end of March. New Microsoft 365 label analytics capabilities will also help customers reduce compliance risks with the aid of new built-in eDiscovery capabilities and streamline compliance demands for regulated clients in Microsoft Teams.
