Ukrainian police seized servers from where NotPetya first started to spread. The servers belonged to a Ukrainian company that sells accounting software under the names IS-pro and M.E.Doc. Microsoft, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Cisco, and ESET have gone on record saying the company’s servers were responsible for the initial outbreak. The company denied all accusations that its servers were hacked, over and over again. Today, in a Reuters article, the founders denied any intentional wrongdoing once more.
