WikiLeaks Confirms Ecuador Cut Julian Assange’s Internet Access After Clinton Leak

Julian Assange’s internet access was cut down in Ecuador’s London embassy on Saturday. Move was in response to WikiLeaks publication of another batch of leaked emails related to Hillary Clinton. Assange has been living in the embassy since June 2012, when he was granted asylum by the Ecuador government after a British court ordered his extradition to Sweden to face questioning on a rape allegation. Assange fears that if extradited to Sweden, he would eventually be extradited back to the U.S., where he is facing federal charges for his role in obtaining classified information.
