Man Threatened Company with Cyber Attack to Fire Employee and Hire Him Instead

Todd Michael Gori, 28, was sentenced this week to 37 months in prison for threatening a company with cyber attacks unless they fire one of their employees and hire him instead. Gori was fueled by a personal vendetta after the same employee denied his job application several times in the past. He also threatened to buy a gun and shoot TSI Healthcare employees, but prosecutors dropped this latter charge after they found out Gori also threatened more severe charges. The judge sentenced Gori to three years of supervised release.
