Ukraine Police Warns of New NotPetya-Style Large Scale CyberAttack

Ukrainian authorities warn of next wave of “large-scale” cyber attack on state institutions and private companies. Ransomware that shut down thousands of businesses, organisations and banks in Ukraine shut down in June this year. Attack could take place between October 13 and 17 when Ukraine celebrates Defender of Ukraine Day. Government and businesses told to make sure their computers and networks were protected against any intrusion. To protect themselves against the next large-scale cyber attack, the SBU advised businesses to follow some recommendations.
