Plextor’s U.S. site has been hacked by a hacker calling himself “ViciOuS” The attack coincides with the launch of the company’s new M2 line of solid state drives. The company’s European and Asian websites have been left unchanged by the hacker. Similar hacks have occurred on several other websites as well, although the timing of the attack is not clear. The attack comes just days after the company announced its new line of SSDs for the U.K. market.
