Malvertisers Exploited WebKit 0-Day to Redirect Browser Users to Scam Sites

“ScamClub” exploited a bug in Apple’s WebKit browser that redirects users to malicious websites. The bug was first spotted in late June 2020 and was fixed in December. The exploit is now being investigated by the tech giant, which has released a fix for the bug. The fix is now in place for Apple’s latest version of the operating system, which uses WebKit, which was released in December 2020, and the latest version is now available in iOS and MacOS software.
