FBI is investigating the massive hack of Gawker Media. Hackers were able to get over 100,000 of the 1.3 million registered users passwords and emails. The site was forced to stop publishing on Sunday and sent out emails to all registered users to change their password. Gawker Media CEO Nick Denton confessed, “We’re deeply embarrassed by this breach” Creating and using strong passwords is extremely important and good passwords are your first line of defense against hackers. Using one password makes you very vulnerable to hackers.
