Facebook Employees can Access your Account without Password

Facebook has a tool that allows employees to access users’ Facebook accounts without asking permission. Facebook says it has strict controls on how employees can access user data. The social network says it will only be used to respond to requests for information or to report bugs. Facebook has been criticized by the Irish Data Protection Commissioner for notifying users when their accounts have been accessed by an employee without their own permission. The company says that it has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy on employee access to user data, and that it will not be abused.
