Vividh Siddha replaces Grant Erickson as Thread Group President. Erickson stepped down from his role after a monumental five-year run. Siddha will oversee the group’s effort to expand the Thread ecosystem with current and new use-cases across home and commercial applications. There are now more than 60 Thread-enabled consumer devices and components in the market, with over 60 in-demand devices and parts in use-use-cases. He also worked on the early implementations of 6lowPAN and 6LowPAN.
