The U.S. Department of Defense has introduced the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirement for federal contractors. Black & Veatch Management Consulting has achieved accreditation as a Registered Provider Organization. The new framework builds upon existing regulations to specifically protect controlled unclassified information. Each DoD contract awarded will stipulate a designated level of security requirement, enforcing a much-needed level of protection for DoD contractors. The consulting firm is now listed on the CMMC-AB Marketplace as an accredited RPO.
