Amanda L. Joyce, Group Leader, Strategic Cybersecurity Analysis & Research, Argonne National Laboratory, offers her unique perspective on the modern information security landscape. The Department of Energy’s CyberForce Program is a cybersecurity workforce development program which currently hosts a full day of red-blue institutions for a full-blue event at US based universities in the U.S. She says the next generation of cybersecurity defenders need to start learning new skills earlier and take part in programs such as internships or apprenticeships.
