The most frequent types of attacks remain similar to the year before: Social engineering, advanced persistent threat (APT) Ransomware and unpatched system attacks are the most frequent type of attacks. Cybersecurity professionals are facing a challenging 2021 threat landscape that requires constant vigilance, ISACA CEO David Samuelson says. The report also found that artificial intelligence (AI) is fully operational in a third of the security operations of respondents.
