Federal Trade Commission websites could have been hacked without security provisions in contract with third-party vendors who hosted the sites. The FTC suffered two embarrassing breaches within the last two months. The sites in question were developed by public relations firm Fleishman-Hilliard, which hosted them on resources provided by hosting and cloud services provider Media Temple.
