Wave Of DDoS Attacks Down Cloud-Based Services

Feedly, Deezer, Evernote and others have been hit by DDoS attacks this week. Feedly says attackers were demanding they pay a ransom fee to stop the attack. The news-aggregation service says it is working with law enforcement and other victims of the attacks. The attacks do not appear to be related to the ongoing Anonymous attacks on Brazilian government websites and companies associated with supporting the World Cup, which kicks off tomorrow in Sao Paolo. DDoS expert says it could be a multiprDoS attack, especially since it has taken long to recover.”]
