Over 90 Arrested in Global FBI Crackdown on Blackshades RAT

FBI and law enforcement agencies in 17 other countries have arrested 90 people in connection with Blackshades malware. The malware was sold on a dedicated website, bshades.eu for US$40-$50. It was used to infect more than half a million computers worldwide. The RAT is exceptionally versatile, with all the benefits of botnets, keyloggers, creepware, ransomware, and more. Among those charged in this operation are Alex Yucel, a.k.a. “marjinz” and “Victor Soltan,” 24, of Sweden.”]
