Remote management software firm Kaseya says it did not pay a ransom to cybercriminals behind the attack. The company has not disclosed where the decryption tool or the key came from, but on Monday stated neither it nor a third party, on its behalf, had paid a ransom. The Dutch Institute for Vulnerability Disclosure (DIVD) had scanned the Internet for vulnerable servers, discovering that more than 2,200 systems could be attacked.”]
