Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account was apparently hijacked today. Over the course of roughly 20 minutes, the account was used to tweet and retweet dozens of racist and incendiary posts. One suspected method of the account takeover is a SIM swap, which enables an attacker to intercept any two-factor authentication that uses SMS as the second factor. Many of the posts were tagged with the name #ChucklingSquad, a group that’s been credited with several account takeover attacks recently. For more, see here.”]
