Cisco Study Finds Fewer Data Breaches at GDPR-Ready Firms

Cisco’s new Data Privacy Benchmark Study shows that organizations that invested in data privacy suffered fewer data breaches in the past year. Nearly 60% of organizations have met most or all GDPR requirements, and close to 30% expect to do so within a year. GDPR became enforceable on May 28, 2018, imposing stricter rules on the control and use of personally identifiable information as well as giving users more control over their data.
