FireEye: China’s cyber espionage campaigns appear to be more streamlined than in the past two years. President Obama and Chinese president Xi Jinping signed a pact in September 2015 to avoid cyberattacks for economic gain. FireEye found 262 successful network attacks by 72 suspected China-based groups against organizations in the U.S. and 25 other countries. The groups are still very much active and targeting companies intellectual property and personally identifiable information, FireEye says. Other security research firms have seen some shifts in Chinas intellectual theft hacking over the past year as well.”]
