CA Technologies said it will acquire application security service firm Veracode for $614 million. CA said the acquisition will unify its Security and DevOps portfolios with a SaaS-based platform that seamlessly integrates security into the software development process. The acquisition by CA is scheduled to close in the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, and is subject to regulatory approval.
