Trend Micro is acquiring application security firm Immunio in an effort to extend its hybrid cloud security to DevOps. It plans to integrate automated protection through a combination of new capabilities from Immunio and in-house development. Immunio’s technology provides detection of application vulnerabilities, and the Montral-based firm also offers container image-scanning so secure container images can be published and protected. Trend Micro plans to improve its container-specific security capabilities with image scanning, which identifies security issues.”]
